GAS CONVERSION REQUIRES A CONVERSION KIT, AVAILABLE FROM YOUR SOLAIRE DEALER
Conversion Kit for 56” Grill side burners or SB-2 and SB-2C side burners includes:
• Two (2) # 121 Main burner orifice.
• Two (2) # 24 Simmer burner orifice
• Tool for orifice removal
FOR 56” GRILLS, COMPLETE GRILL CONVERSION AS DETAILED ON PAGE 14 BEFORE CONVERTING SIDE BURNERS
1. Remove the Brass Burner Cap and the Simmer burner
2. Using the Main Orifice tool remove the #182 Natural Gas main orifice from the burner venturi (see Fig. 13).
3. Replace the Natural Gas main orifice with a # 121 L.P. Gas Orifice.
4. Using the smaller simmer orifice tool remove the # 32 Natural Gas simmer orifice from the simmer burner venturi.
5. Replace the Natural Gas simmer orifice with a # 24 L.P. Gas Orifice.
6. Repeat the procedure above for the second side burner.
7. NOTE: If you are only converting a Double Side Burner, convert the Regulator as described in "2", "3" and "4" under
Grill Conversion detailed on page 14.
8. Change the indication on the rating plate to show that the unit has been converted to L.P. Gas.
9. Your SOLAIRE INFRARED double Side Burner can now be operated on L.P. Gas.
