Appendix B: Paragon Direct Connect
Z-Series Z4200U Z-CIMs are Paragon Ready™, for convenient, clustered access and control of high-density rack
mounted servers in large-scale data centers. The USTS is not required. Simply connect the first Z-CIM in the chain
directly to Raritan’s Paragon with a single Category 5e UTP cable.
NOTE: Support for Paragon Direct Connect of Z-CIM requires Paragon UST1 firmware version 2K10 or higher, and
UMT8 firmware version 2B1 or higher.
