Power CIM
After connecting and detecting a Raritan power CIM, the PX3 shows
'Power CIM' in place of 'Feature Port' in the menu. See
Dominion KX II /
III Configuration
(on page 696) or
Dominion KSX II, SX or SX II
Configuration
(on page 701).
Open the Power CIM page by clicking it in the
Menu
(on page 132). This
page shows the CIM's status, including:
Number of the FEATURE port where this CIM is connected
Its device type
Its connection status
For the functionality of this icon
on the top-right corner, see
Feature Port
(on page 193).
User Management
User Management menu deals with user accounts, permissions, and
preferred measurement units on a per-user basis.
The PX3 is shipped with one built-in administrator account: admin,
which is ideal for initial login and system administrator. You can neither
delete 'admin' nor change its permissions.
A "role" determines the tasks/actions a user is permitted to perform on
the PX3 so you must assign one or multiple roles to each user.
Click 'User Management' in the
Menu
(on page 132), and the following
submenu displays.
