EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
INTRODUCTION
This section provides checklists and amplified procedures for coping with emergencies
that may occur. Emergencies caused by aircraft or power plant malfunctions are rare if
proper pre-flight inspections and maintenance are performed. Emergencies caused by
extreme weather situations can be minimized or eliminated by good judgment and
proper pre-flight planning. However, should an emergency arise the basic guidelines
described in this section should be considered and applied as necessary to resolve the
problem.
