PADS
Pads must be replaced when 1/16 inch (0.060”) of pad friction material
is left.
ROTORS
Rotors should be resurfaced by a qualified brake specialist if extreme
galling or wear marks are present.
RUST
Check for extreme rust on mounting bolts, flanges and welds, which
may weaken the structural integrity of the system. Repair or replace as
necessary.

If not familiar with disc brake pad
replacement, have work performed by a
qualified individual or service shop.
CAUTION
Rotors must be replaced if distance
between brake surfaces becomes less
than 0.850 inches (21.6 mm) due to wear or machining.
CAUTION
Check for leaks in the brake lines and
fittings. Leaks will lead to loss of trailer
braking ability. Repair or replace as necessary.
CAUTION
The braking mechanism on this trailer is
designed as an aid in slowing and
stopping the trailer. The braking system on the tow vehicle is the
primary slowing and stopping system. You will not be able to stop the
tow vehicle and the towed trailer as quickly as you could stop the tow
vehicle alone.
