Breakers are circuit protection (50 amp 12 volt) for the positive (+)
leads in the trolling motor wiring (bow to stern). A problem in the system
could result in the breaker(s) being tripped. Should this occur, the
breaker(s) can be reset by pushing the switch. If this occurs again,
disconnect battery leads and trace immediately, or take it to your Ranger
dealer for repair.
An ignition protected circuit breaker is used for the accessories.
Should a breaker trip, simply reset.
This switch should also be in the
“off” position when trailering or storing the boat.
It acts as a master
switch and turns off all accessories getting their power from the Ranger
fuse panel. Remember, engine circuits will not be affected by these
breakers/switches, but could have breakers or fuses of their own. Consult
your engine owners manual for electrical particulars.
