Positioning of instrument
The instrument must be positioned in a manner that allows you to discon-
nect the unit from the mains at any time and without restrictions.

Rack Mounting
The instrument can be installed in a 19
"
rack using the rack adapter R&S HZN96
(P/N 3638.7813.02). Proceed according to the installation instructions supplied
with the rack adapter.
Ambient temperature
Place the R&S
NGL/NGM power supply in an area where the ambient tem-
perature is 5 °C to +40 °C. The R&S
NGL/NGM power supply is
fan-cooled and must be installed with sufficient space along the sides to
ensure free flow of air.
