1.  From the destination confirmation window, tap 

Compare Routes

  

to view two calculated routes: the primary route and an  
alternative route. 

2.   The top of the screen displays the total distance and time for  

each route. Zoom in to get a closer look at each route on the map.

3.   Tap on #1 or #2 to select that route.
