4-5.1 - Check after Installation:
Items to be checked
Possible malfunction
Have all parts been connected firmly?
The unit may drop, shake, or make noise.
Have you done refrigerant leakage tests?
System may exhibit insufficient cooling/heating
performance.
Is heat insulation sufficient?
Parts may experience condensation and dripping.
Is water drainage satisfactory?
Parts may experience condensation and dripping.
Is voltage in accordance with the rated voltage
marked on nameplate?
Incorrect voltage may cause electric malfunction or
damage to system.
Are the electrical wires and piping connections
installed correctly and securely?
Loose connections may cause electric malfunction or
damage to system.
Has the unit been connected to a secure earth
connection?
Insufficient grounding may cause electrical malfunction.
Is the power cord correct and sufficient?
Poor cabling may cause electric malfunction or damage
to system.
Are any inlet and outlet openings blocked?
Blockage may cause insufficient cooling/heating
performance.
Are length of copper connection pipes and initial
refrigerant capacity recorded?
Refrigerant capacity/pressure will not be accurate and
may lead to insufficient cooling/heating performance.

4-5.2 - Operation Test:
• Before Operation Test

Do not switch on power before installation is finished completely.
·
Electric wiring must be connected correctly and securely.
·
Refrigerant cut-off valves to the copper connection pipes should be opened.
·
All impurities or debris such as scraps and thrums must be cleared from the unit.
• Operation Test
1.
Switch on power and press “
ON/OFF
” button on the remote controller to start operation.
2.
Press
MODE
button to select the COOL, HEAT (if system is cooling only, heat will not be available), FAN to ensure
all core operations are normal and functional.
