INTRODUCTION
Your Rainfresh TWIST Drinking Water System uses a premium filtering
process, providing cleaner, safer, better tasting drinking water for your
family. It reduces lead, VOC (volatile organic compounds), cysts,
chlorine, bad tastes and odours (see performance data sheet for
details)*. The system is designed for installation under the kitchen sink
and includes a ceramic-disc faucet for dispensing filtered water.

Contaminants reduced by this system are not necessarily in your water.
The “Twist ON/Twist OFF” design makes cartridge replacement quick
and easy, using no tools and without having to shut off the water.
The system features a unique electronic monitor (QS1 only) that tracks
both the gallons used and time in service and triggers a blinking orange LED when either of these limits is
reached advising you to replace the cartridge.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This filter system is designed for residential point-of use undersink indoor installation only.
o
Protect filter from direct sunlight.
o
If water pressure
will at any time exceed the 100 psi maximum, a pressure regulator and water hammer
arrestor must be installed before the filter to prevent
potentially damaging shocks caused by high
pressure.
Recommended regulator setting is 75 psi / 5.1 bar/ 517 kPa or less. Not intended for
installation in multi-storey buildings over 4 storeys.

Do not subject to freezing temperatures with water inside the unit. If your unit will not be used in winter,
or will be subject to freezing temperatures, drain unit completely (see “Maintenance” section for details).
o
This system is intended for use with cold water only. DO NOT INSTALL ON HOT WATER.
o
Only use Rainfresh TWIST filter cartridges with this unit. No other filter cartridge will fit or
function with this system
.
o
Do not lubricate O-rings with petroleum based lubricants. Only food-grade silicone (Dow 111
compound) should be sparingly used.
o
Do not
clean unit with organic solvents such as those found in sprays for cleaning products or
insecticides as these may cause cracking or crazing and lead to failure and leakage.
o
Installation of this unit may involve some water spillage. Keep an ample supply of paper towels or an
absorbent cloth handy.
