Horn/Whistle
- To soundthe horn,
firmly press theHorn/Whistle
button. The horn will sound for as
longasyoucontinue to depress the
button. It willstopwhenyou
releasethebutton.
Bell
- To sound the bell, firmly
press andreleasethe Bell
button.To turn the bell off,
press andreleasethe Bell button
again. The bell will continue t o
ringfromthetimeyouturniton
until youpress andreleasethe
buttonagain to turn it off.
Direction
Your train is
programmed tostart in neutral.
The train will always cycle
neutral-forward-neutral-reverse
witheachpressandrelease of the
directionbutton. The engine i s
programmed torestart inneutral
eachtime the track voltage i s
turned off for 25 secondsor more.
Emergency Stop
Press the
Emergency Stopbuttonand all
trains on thetrackcontrolled b y
theremote will stop until you
reapply voltage. This is aneasy
waytoshutdownyourtrainsat
theendof a session or to stop
suddenly i f thetrain'spath
becomesobstructed.
Operation Buttons
Throttle U p
Throttle up thepowertoyourtrackbypressing the topendoftheThrottle
Control Rocker Switchfirmly forabout 5 seconds, until the engine's headlightand
lighted cars burnbright. Then put the engine into motion by firmly pressing the
Direction button (holdit for approximately1 second)on y o u r remoteonce. I f t h e engine
does not begin to moveas soon as you firmlypresstheDirection button,you may not
have sent enough voltagetothetracktomakethetrainmove. Press t h e throttle u p f o r a
fewmore seconds untilthetrainbeginstomove.
Toincrease or decreasetrackvoltage,and therefore trainspeed,press thethrottle control
rocker switch. Pressingthe t o p end o f t h e throttle will increasevoltage and speed.
Pressing thebottom end ofthethrottlewilldecreasevoltage andspeed.
Theengine will maintainthespeedyousetafteryourelease thethrottle until youpress it
again tochange the voltage a n d speed.
