Preparation and adjustment include:
● Installation of the table ;
● Installation of the drilling chuck or end mill;
● Installation of the guiding ruler;
● Adjustment of the table.
5.13.1 Installation of the milling table
Fix the table Pos. 57 to the clips Pos. 116 using 4
bolts Pos. 54 and washers Pos. 55 and Pos. 56.
5.13.2 Installation of the drilling chuck
Firstly, install the special nut Pos.41 on the thread
of the protruding shaft’s end.
Install the drilling chuck Pos. 52 on the cone of
the protruding shaft’s end. The chuck should be
fixed using screw Pos. 53 through the maximally
extended cams of the chuck.
Install and fix the required end mill Pos. 51 in the
drilling chuck or standard drill bit.
The drilling chuck can be taken off the shaft’s
cone with the help of the special nut Pos. 41, after
the removal of the screw Pos. 53.
5.13.3 Installation of the guiding ruler
Install the guiding ruler, used for sawing, on the
table Pos. 57 and fix it using thumbscrews.
5.13.4 Adjustment of the table
Adjust the table’s height relative to the tools. Fix it
on pivots of the bases using wing-nuts Pos. 117.
The feeding of the treated material is made
manually.
6. CONDITIONS FOR PROPER FUNCTIONING
OF THE MACHINE
In order to keep the machine in proper technical
condition the following types of technical service
are to be carried out: ЕТО и ТО.
ЕТО - every shift technical service includes:
● visual check;
● examination of removable cable and its proper
grounding ;
● check for protective guards’ presence;
● cleaning (wiping) the machine.
ТО – technical service is to be carried out after
every 50 hours of operation of the machine and
includes:
● check of the belt’s tension and adjustment of it
(replace the belt if necessary, after replacement (
refers to the new machine as well) the first check
of the belt is to be made after 10-15 hours of the
machine’s operation);
● examination and cleaning of the ventilation
windows (should be cleaned by vacuum cleaner).
In order to check the belt’s tension and adjust the
tension, it is required to (see. Pic.1):
● take off the protective housing Pos. 120, by
turning off the four screws;
● check the tension of the belts according to the
below stated scheme (Pic. 9)

● to pull the belt А (see. Pic.10) of the drive of the
knives’ block it is required to ease the nut Pos. 1
as well as the two nuts fixing the reduction block
Pos. 2, located on the inner wall Pos. 3;

● using hand force move the pulley of the motor
according to arrow А downwards – the belt’s
tension shall increase; upwards – the tension
shall decrease;
● tighten the nut Pos. 1.
After the adjustment of the А belt, adjust the В
belt respectively.
