EVENTUAL PROBLEMS AND TROUBLESHOOTING.
When the engine does not start:
Is gasoline reaching the carburetor?
To check, loosen the drain plug (pos. 3, fig. 35) with the fuel tap open (pos. 1, fig. 35) to the
ON position (pos. 2, fig. 35). The fuel must run out freely.
Tighten the drain plug.
Attention! If fuel is spilled, make sure the space is dry before turning on the engine
or testing the spark plug. Combustible fumes are flammable.

5. Does a spark sparkle?
a. Remove the candle pipe. Clean around the base of the candle, unscrew and clean the
candle.
b. Put the candle in contact with a metal part of the engine.
c. Turn the engine switch to ON.
d. Pull the reversing starter to check for a spark between
electrodes.
e. If there is no spark, replace the candle.
f. If there is a spark, try starting the engine as instructed or
blow the cylinder out of vapors, choke or old fuel when removed
candle pulling the reverse starter about 15-20 times.
If the engine still does not start, take the cultivator to an authorized
service.
