1-4. Initialization to Created Logical Drive
After created new Logical Drive, Initialization must be executed beforehand.
Run Initialization as procedure below.
Open [Main Menu] -> [Logical Drive Management]. Logical Drive that is created in before subsection is
displayed. Set cursor to the Logical Drive and press Enter.
Above [Logical Drive Info and Setting] screen is opened. Set cursor [Initialization Start] and press Enter.
Initialization have “Full Initialize” and “Quick Initialize”. After selected “Initialization Start”,
press “F” in case to run Full initialize and press “Q” in case to run Quick Initialize. (Cancel is “C”
）
“Quick Initialize” initialize a part of territory such as RAID Configuration Information. So Quickly
initialization is operated.
On the other hands, ”Full initialize” initialize to all of territory and it can initialize to them certainly. However,
It takes so much time if created Logical Drive capacity is too large.
During initialization, “Initialization Stop” is displayed. If you select “Initialization Stop”, Initialization has
stopped.
