DISABLE LOCAL FLASH – When this feature is enabled the monitor will ignore the Local Flash input. The
LOC FLASH
indicator will show this function as disabled (50 milliseconds on, once every two seconds) when
this feature is enabled. This feature can be useful in scenarios where you want to temporarily disable Local Flash.
See Section 2.6.8 for more information. The factory default for this feature is

MODIFIED CVM LATCH – When this feature is enabled and the CVM Latch Enable jumper is installed on the
programming card, the CVM input will not latch a CVM failure until the CVM input has been valid for more than

EXTERNAL WATCHDOG ENABLE – When this feature is enabled the monitor will verify the status of an
optional external watchdog output from a Controller Unit or other external cabinet device. See Section 2.5.13 for

TYPE 16 ONLY – When this feature is enabled the monitor will always operate in the Type 16 mode. See Section

DISABLE BUZZER – When this feature is enabled the monitor will not use the buzzer to annunciate a pending
configuration change. This feature can be useful in the lab environment where many changes are being made to
the monitor for testing purposes. It is not recommended that this feature be enabled for any monitor in the field.

FLASHING GREENS – When this feature is enabled the monitor will modify its Red Fail and Dual Indication
timings to deal with the fast flashing Green indications used in Canada. Only monitors used in Canada should have
this factory option enabled. See Section 2.6.9 for more information.
ECONOLITE FRAMES – When this feature is enabled the monitor will respond to special SDLC frames requested
by Econolite controllers.
