CONFIGURATION MENU

MENU FUNCTION
FAULT MONITORING SETTINGS
Access the Fault Monitoring Menu. This menu contains all of the displays for viewing
and/or editing configuration settings that affect the fault monitoring abilities of the
monitor. The monitor will log any change to any of these settings.
GENERAL SETTINGS
View and/or edit the configuration settings that do not affect the fault monitoring
capabilities of the monitor.
4.6.2.1
FAULT MONITORING MENU
The right side of the menu divider bar (the dashes on the second line of the display) is used to provide an indication
of the current status of the editing session. When an editing session has not been started the monitor will show a
status of locked that will be indicated by
LCK
. When an editing session has been started but no changes have
actually been made the monitor will show a status of unlocked that will be indicated by a flashing
UNL
. Once a
modification has been made to any parameter, the flashing message will change from
UNL
to
MOD
. When the
change has been canceled or saved (see below), the message will cease flashing and the display will return to
LCK
.

START CHANGES or
CANCEL CHANGES
Start an editing session or
Cancel an editing session once one has been started.
SAVE CHANGES
Save any changes made during an editing session.
ROLLBACK CHANGES
Reactivate a prior set of configuration settings.
TESTING DEFAULTS
Set all configuration settings in the monitor to a known state that is usually the correct one for
automated testing.
CONFIGURATION CRC
Display the CRC value for the last ten configurations.
SETTINGS
Access the menu for view and/or editing all of the individual configuration settings.
FACTORY
View the factory configuration settings.
CLEAR ALL
Set the configuration options for this monitor to the factory defaults.
WIZARD
Access the configuration wizard that can be used to automatically configure most settings in the
monitor.

START CONFIGURATION
Before a change can be made to any Fault Monitoring setting, an editing session must be started. To initiate
changes to the Fault Monitoring settings, use the arrow pushbuttons to select
YES
and press the
ENTER
pushbutton to unlock the monitor and confirm the start of an editing session of the Fault Monitoring configuration.

CANCEL CONFIGURATION
To cancel any changes made to any Fault Monitoring setting, use the arrow pushbuttons to select
YES
and press
the
ENTER
pushbutton to confirm the cancellation of the editing session and lock the monitor.

SAVE CONFIGURATION
To save changes to the Fault Monitoring settings use the arrow pushbuttons to select
YES
and press the
ENTER
pushbutton to confirm using the new Fault Monitoring settings and lock the monitor.
NOTE: When a new Fault Monitoring configuration has been saved, the monitor will provide an audible
confirmation of the new configuration by sounding the buzzer (five chirps).

ROLLBACK CHANGES
The monitor records the ten (10) most recent Fault Monitoring configurations in the Configurations Log. The
Rollback Changes feature allows the user to select and restore any one of the ten previously used configurations.
Use the up (▲) or down (▼) pushbutton to select the desired previous configuration to restore and
press the
ENTER
pushbutton to confirm the rollback and lock the monitor, or press the
ESCAPE
pushbutton to exit the
Rollback Changes function.
NOTE: The program card settings of the previously stored configuration must match the settings on the
programming card installed in the monitor or the configuration will be grayed out and inaccessible. If you want to
use a grayed out configuration, insert the correct program card for that configuration and it will become
selectable.
NOTE: The monitor will provide an audible confirmation of restoration of a previous configuration by sounding
the buzzer (five chirps).
