To charge the battery pack
alone, place the battery
pack on the charging cradle,
matching the contacts on the
battery pack to the contacts
on the charging cradle.

The monitor (or battery) is still in charging mode when:

The LED on the charging cradle is red
s
The “Monitor Charging” message appears on the display
s
The segments of the battery icon are scrolling.
