Press "OK" to initiate the software download.
The following menu will appear. Here you have the opportunity
to change parameters as in the previous chapters.
Satellite broadcasts are divided into free channels and pay
channels. To view pay channels, you will need to purchase a
Smart Card and CI-CA module (CAM) from the broadcaster of
the corresponding channel(s).
The Receiver is equipped with 2 PCMCIA slots to enable the
viewing of pay channels. Insert the CI-CA module (CAM) that is
inserted with the Smart Card into one of the PCMCIA slots.
Under this menu item you will find information about the
software version of your receiver and can update the software
version.
The software version is updated by downloading the new
software via satellite. Prerequisite for this is that more up to
date version is available.

The receiver first checks whether a more up-to-date software
version is available.
If this is not the case, "No available software found! Please try
again later on" is displayed.
After successfully downloading a new software version
"Software update completed!!! " is displayed and the receiver
automatically restarts.
Insert the Smart Card into the CI-CA module (CAM).
Insert the CI-CA module (CAM) with the Smart Card into the PCMCIA slot 1 or 2.
Press the MENU button on the remote control to go to the Main Menu.
Select "Common Interface Manager" and then press the OK button.
