3.4.2 By Transmitter
1. Connect the Mission Planner before compass calibration with transmitter, select Radio Calibration in the
INITIAL SETUP menu( If this step is already done, no need to recalibrate). Select the corresponding firmware
when connecting the transmitter (eg. If it’s the acrobatic model that you aresetting, firmware of same aircraft
should be chosen in the Model Type of BASIC MENU with throttel phrase reversed set in the transmitter.
Signal output of receiver should be SBUS in BLUE indicator)
2. When calibrating compass with the transmitter, no need to connect Turbo Pix to Mission Planner.
Transmitter can be used directly to calibrate the compass of Turbo Pix.
3. Buzzer need to be installed as the notification when calibrating the compass with the transmitter.
4. Power on the transmitter, the throttle gimbal stick should be at the lowest position.
5. Power on Turbo Pix annd wait until its self-check is complete. The normal notification should be RED
indicator flashes quickly-- buzzer makes DEE sounds -- Red and Green indicators flash quickly--
Red/Green/Blue indicators flash intervally-Red and Green indicators flash quickly, then self-check is done.
6. Toggle the throttle gimbal stick to the top position(max.) and YAW to the rightest and hold these positions
for at least 2s after a D sound is made by the buzzer, then two D sounds after 2-3s, then the buzzer will make
continuous DD sounds like once per second, meaning the compass calibration mode by transmitter is
activated.
