• The POWER indicator does not light if the two-line
adapter is powered by internal batteries.
Using AC Power
To power the adapter from an AC outlet, you need an AC
adapter (not supplied), such as Cat. No. 273-1455.
Cautions:
• You must use a Class II AC adapter that supplies 9 volts
and delivers at least 100 milliamps. Its center tip must be
set to negative, and its plug must correctly fit the
DC 9V
jack on the two-line adapter. The recommended AC
adapter meets these specifications. Using an AC
adapter that does not meet these specifications could
seriously damage the two-line adapter or the AC
adapter.
• Always plug the AC adapter into the two-line adapter
before you plug it into the AC outlet, and unplug the AC
adapter from the AC outlet before you unplug its barrel
plug from the two-line adapter.
