The weather radio’s continuous alert tone sounds
intermittently or seems to warble.
This is not a malfunction. The weather radio constantly monitors
the set channel, even while sounding an alert. If a signal is received,
the radio compares the signal to its memory, which can make the
continuous alert tone sound intermittent.
The weather radio is not responding properly to NWS weather
alert broadcasts.
