Basic Settings

Alert Reminder

If

Alert Reminder

 is on and an alert is received, the radio beeps 

every 30 seconds. Your can stop the reminder by pressing any key 
or wait until the weather alert expires. 

If

Signal Reminder

 is on and a signal loss is detected, the 

radio beeps at intervals of 30 seconds, 1 minute, 1.5 minutes, 2 
minutes, and so on up to 5 minutes. The beep continues every 5 
minutes until the signal is recovered. You can stop the reminder 
by pressing any key.

If you selected

You can turn alert tones on or off 
for each alert type. For example, you can turn off the alert 
tone for a coastal flood warning if you do not live near the 
coast.

 to confirm your setting and go to the next 

alert.
