Here the current position of the cylinder can be stored in the memory storage by hand. With the
function in the “Setup” menu “Set Position (new/spare modules)” and the subsequent security check
the new position can be stored in the EPS02.
5.2.7.1 Installation and Connection Help
The Windows
®
configuration software RACO Setup Tool is delivered on CD or available as download
on the RACO website www.raco.de in the service area after registration. The downloaded ZIP archive
has to be unpacked before installation in a folder including the subdirectory structure (WinZip: "Extract
to folder ..."). For installation the SETUP program has to be started in administrator mode at the PC.

7, the user policies were changed. For a correct installa-
tion, the program has to be started in administrator mode and with administrator privileges. Click there-
fore the file “Setup” with the right mouse button and choose the option “open as administrator”. Then
the installation will start automatically.
Connect the PC with the supplied USB cable to the EPS board. Start the configuration program RACO
Setup Tool from the Windows
®
start menu.
Once connected, the LED "COM ... Connected" will turn to green. If the LED stays red no connection
could be established.
Trouble shooting in case of connection problems:
The most common cause is an incorrectly set COM port:
Check under System Settings / Device Manager the com ports (COM & LPT). There you should see
the entry for the device driver UART controller ("CP210x USB to UART Bridge Controller
or Prolific
USB-to-Serial Comm Port ") and which COM port is assigned. This can be one or more COM ports,
but does not necessarily have to be freely available. Note the displayed COM_Ports that are assigned
to the driver and select one of these in the RACO Setup Tool under SETUP / COM port. Should an
error occur, please choose another one. Attention: Use COM ports below port 10. Then the connection
should be made and change the LED to the color green.
Is the UART Bridge Controller not shown in the Device Manager, it has to be installed manually. Se-
lect from the CD in the subdirectory of the corresponding Windows
®
version the driver and run the
program PreInstaller with administrator privileges.
Under certain circumstances another program is using the UART controller and bind it tightly, even
when the program is not started. This is typical for programs that create a serial port connection to an
external hardware via USB port. In this case it can not connect. Uninstall the other program or use
another PC / laptop without this program.
