Mounting the EnergySwitch
1.
Connect the mounting brackets to the device using the provided screws.
2.
Attach the EnergySwitch to a vertical rail in your rack:
Position the EnergySwitch, align the buttons with the rack mounting slots and fix the
EnergySwitch using cage nuts and screws (not included in the package).

The EnergySwitch has a detachable power cord. Attach the included power cord to the
EnergySwitch by inserting the input cable in to the power inlet.
Note: Optionally, a user-supplied power cord can be attached to the EnergySwitch by
connecting it to the IEC inlet. The cord-set should be a UL Listed type SJT or better rated
minimum 14 AWG (1.5mm
2
) rated 125V or 250V.
4.
Connect the input plug to a compatible AC power outlet.
Note: The AC power source should not share a circuit with a heavy electrical load.
5.
When using the device for the first time all OUTPUT LEDs will light up consecutively
indicating that the outlets are being activated.
6.
The POWER LED (blue) will become active.
Connect your equipment’s input plugs to the outlet plugs of the EnergySwitch.
