BREAKER FOR YOUR SAFETY
AND TO PREVENT DAMAGE
TO THE UNIT.
Please read the Owner’s Manual
enitrely before installing.
All wiring should comply with local
electrical codes and requires a
qualified electrician.
Make sure the total lighting load
connected to the LOS800CA does
not exceed the following:
120V: 800W Incandescent and
fluorescent, 6.67A.
277V: 1200W Incandescent and
Fluorescent, 4.33A.
Exceeding the wattage limits will
damage the unit. To switch more
wattage, an electrician can install
a relay to handle the load.
Do not use LOS800CA to control
high intensity discharge lights, fans,
heaters, or motors. Small bathroom
exhaust fans may be used with
LOS800CA.
LOS800CA may be used with both
standard and electronic fluorescent
ballasts.

Installation Step by Step:

1. Remove the existing switch,
if necessary.
2. Connect as shown in the wiring
diagrams. See page 5.
3. Twist on wire nuts. Secure with
electrical tape. Mount LOS800CA
in wall box with 2 screws provided.
4. Remove the adjustment access

cover and set the timer to minimum
by turning the dial counter clockwise.
5. Turn on the power. The LED will
blink Red and the lights will turn on.
After 40 seconds the lights will go
off and the LED will go off.
6. Push the On button, the LED will be
Green and the sensor will enter Auto
Mode. When it detects movement the
LED alternates between Red and
Green and the lights will turn on.
7. When detection stops the sensor
turns off the lights in about 8 seconds
(while set at minimum).
8. Check coverage area.
9. Set the timer to desired amount
from 5 seconds to 15 minutes.
10. After the lights go out and the
sensor does not detect any movement
for 15 minutes the sensor will turn off.
LED will also go off.
11. The Manual-On button will need
to be pushed to reactivate sensor.
The Red LED will blink during 40
seconds warm up and lights will
stay on.
The LED will be Green when the
sensor is in the auto mode. Lights
will come on with motion for set time.
The sensor LED will turn Red.
When the sensor is triggered lights
will come on.
The sensor LED will blink Red and
Green when motion is detected,
while lights are on.
The LED will be off when Manual-On
is required.
12. See ‘Adjustments’ section for
control options. Only make adjust-
ments after the setup has been
completed.
13. Attach the wall plate.
