Battery & Charging
Range
The total distance that you can travel per trip with a
single charge of battery is called the range. The range
depends on the capacity of the battery and the energy
consumption of the motor.
Battery capacity
The amount of energy in a battery is expressed in Watt-
hours (Wh). The number of Watt-hours is calculated by
multiplying the number of Ampère-hours (Ah) times the
nominal Voltage (36V). The higher the amount of Watt-
hours, the higher the range!
The QWIC Performance models come with batteries
with a 525Wh or 735Wh capacity. The capacity of the
battery is marked on the bottom of the battery.
Batteries drain energy slowly, even if the
bicycle is not used. If the battery is connected
to the bike it will run out of power faster than if
it is taken out and stored inside.
Range
The range of your e-bike depends on the choice of
battery capacity, power of the motor and chosen
power level. The estimated range that you can expect is
displayed in below table:
Note that under different conditions the
range can differ strongly. Our tests have been
carried out on flat terrain, at temperatures of
approximately 20 degrees Centigrade, at an
average speed of 20 km/h and an approximate
total weight of 75kg.
