monitor handset. The handset number of the alerted handset must be different

. There are three noise levels that will trigger a call.
To set the level on the room monitor, use the [

] arrow keys. The Level
1 setting requires the least amount of noise to trigger a call, Level 3 requires the
most amount.

Note: The handset remains in the Room Monitor mode until you disable it.
To disable the Room Monitor,
1. Select
“Room Monitor;”
press
OK
.

to remove checkmark and then
End
to return handset to idle state.
Note: An incoming call will not ring on handsets in the Room Monitor mode. You
will see the call on the handset’s display, and you may pickup the call by pressing
Talk
.
Temporary Tone
The system is set to tone dialing from the factory. If your phone line is set to pulse
dialing, you can access bank facilities and telephone answering machines through
the handset’s temporary DTMF menu.

Scroll to the
Temp DTMF
On/Off toggle key.

Dial number. The handset will reset automatically when the call ends.
To set your phone to pulse dialing
1. Press

Select “System Settings”, press

Select “Tone/Pulse Dial”, press
OK
.

Select “Pulse Dialing”. A check mark appears next to Pulse Dialing.
