5.3 Starting

Procedure for regulator as shown

Procedure

Reference

Action

At least 10 minutes before starting, the main supply to the dryer must be switched on to initialize
the regulator and flow switch.

Close the dryer by-pass valve, if installed.

Press start button (14).

Open the dryer air inlet valve (customer's installation).

Approx. 5 minutes later, open the dryer air outlet valve (customer's installation).

Approx. 10 minutes later, the nominal dew-point will be reached.

5.4 During operation

Description for regulator as shown

Regularly check:

•

The pressure dew-point on the display of the control panel. The pressure dew-point will deviate
from nominal if the air inlet conditions or volume flow differ from nominal.

•

That condensate is discharged. The amount depends on the operating conditions.
