TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE & SOLUTION
Tipper function doesn’t work
Possible Fault: Check that the tipper
locking latch is not in the locked
position.
Solution: Push latch down unlocking
the tipper latch
Possible Fault: Check 12 Volt tipper
battery is not flat
Solution: Charge/replace battery
Possible Fault: Check 12 Volt vehicle
towing battery is not flat
Solution: Charge/replace Battery
Possible Fault: Check 3 x 30 Amp
fuses are not blown
Solution: Press resettable fuse and or
replace blade fuses
Possible Fault: One of the two 12 cut
off switches is faulty or stuck in the
depressed position
Solution: Free up the plunger of the
cut-off switch or replace
Tipper function switch is working in
the incorrect direction. For example,
when pushing the switch in the
up position to tip the tipper tray
is moving back to the horizontal
position or vice versa.
Fault: The retraction strap has rolled all
the way around the motor pully causing
it to run in the reverse direction to the
switch.
Solution: Remove the strap D ring from
the tipper tray. Allow the tray to move
back into the horizontal position. Using
the switch run the belt strap all the way
down until it just starts to come back
up. Reattach the strap D ring.
