Wiring, terminals and cables
Considering the high currents involved, a few precautions on wiring are in order:
• Cable size should range from 0.5 mm

to 1.5 mm

. • Peel off cables by 8 mm to add the terminal.
INTENDED USE
• The QCC-RCV WI/RF receiver is intended to be used to control colour and adjust the brightness of RGBW LED light
sources.
• For fire-prevention reasons, install the QCC-RCV WI/RF receiver in a ventilated, controlled-temperature environment,
protected from dust and humidity. Do not expose the dimmer pack to rain or humidity.
• The QCC-RCV WI/RF must be used as a receiver for RF signals of the QCC-LCS TP RF user interface.
• Any other use should be considered improper and unpredictable.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The QCC-RCV WI/RF receiver is a device of the Quick QCC RGBW system that receives
a command from the QCC-LCS TP RF (868MHz RF signal) or from an Android or IOS
smartphone, via an app. The QCC-RCV WI/RF receiver transforms the commands into a
DMX512 signal that is sent to the QCC-PLT300.
INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION
• Always disconnect the supply voltage during installation and maintenance operations.
• For instruction on how to connect the QCC-RCV WI/RF in the QCC RGBW system consult the diagram on page 9 of this
manual.
• Make the connections following the best practices, using cable of adequate type and size that are appropriate for the
environment conditions.
• Critically inspect your work immediately after installing or servicing the product.
• Turn on the power, MAKE SURE THE POLARITY IS RIGHT.
TECHNICAL ELEMENTS AND DEFINITIONS
•
RGBW system
: in this specific manual this is an electric lighting system that consists of an assembly of RGBW LED light
sources and electronic devices that control and check such lights.
•
DMX512
: communication protocol that transmits the instructions for managing the RGBW system.
•
RF 868MHz
: RF communication standard
•
WI FI
: wireless communication standard used in several mobile devices to identify and use wireless networks.
COUPLING THE RADIOFREQUENCY SIGNAL
Once the system devices are installed and wired, couple the QCC-RCV WI/RF receiver to the QCC-LCS TP RF devices that you
want to use as controls for the Quick QCC RGBW system.

) Press the LEARNING push-button on the QCC-RCV WI/RF receiver. The red LED indicator will come on.

) From this moment you will have about 5 seconds to act on the QCC-LCS TP RF and touch any point on the coloured panel.
The red LED indicator will flash twice to confirm that the control and the receiver are coupled. If the red LED indicator
does not flash, press the LEARNING push-button again.

) Now you can send RF instructions to the QCC-RCV WI/RF receiver from the QCC-LCS TP RF associated.
To couple other QCC-LCS TP RF devices, repeat steps

(for up to 8 QCC-LCS TP RF devices).
If you want to cancel every coupling, reset the QCC-RCV WI/RF to its factory settings by pressing and holding the LEARNING
push-button for at least 5 seconds.
HOW TO USE THE WI-FI APP
The QCC-RCV WI/RF can receive instructions via Wi-Fi by means of the free Easycolor app for Android or IOS operating
systems of mobile devices.
Download and install the app for Android or IOS according to the operating system of your device.
Activate the Wi-Fi network and get connected to the Easycolor network that is displayed.
