CHARACTERISTICS - INSTALLATION - TECHNICAL DATA
WARNING: THE TRANSMITTER MUST BE PROGRAMMED FROM THE RECEIVER MEMORY.
FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE GIVEN IN THE USER'S MANUAL SUPPLIED WITH THE RECEIVER.
RADIO CONTROL TRANSMITTER
The old and inconvenient coding system using dip-switches has been replaced by the Multipass
®
system. The micro-proces-
sor installed in the receiver can single out, identify and store the code of each transmitter. Each transmitter has its own
code which is different from all the others. This code is chosen from a list of more than sixteen million combinations.
INDICATOR LIGHT
The red Led on the front (see figure 1) will light up when any key on the transmitter is pressed. The Led will stay on for
as long as the key is kept pressed.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
WARNING: before working on the transmitter, make sure the receiver is de-energised. If a key is accidentally pres-
sed the receiver could be activated, thus creating a hazardous situation.
MODELS 02-04
Open the transmitter case, prising it open at the slot, as shown in fig. 2. Once the cover with buttons has been removed,
take out the printed circuit (item A). Remove the elastic band and take out the battery (item B). Install the new battery
(of the type indicated in the specifications) taking care to check for correct polarity as indicated on the back of the print-
ed circuit or inside the cover and enclosure. Put the elastic band back and re-install the printed circuit in the case. Put the
cover back in place.
MODELS 302-304-306-308-310
Unscrew the six screws located on the back of the transmitter with a Phillips screwdriver. Prise open the transmitter between
the front (grey) and base (black) with a flat blade screwdriver (Fig. 3). Once the front has been removed, take the bat-
tery out of the clips. Install the new battery (of the type indicated in the specifications) taking care to check the correct
polarity. Place the battery inside of the front panel and put it back together with the base (make sure the seal is in the
correct position). Tighten the six screws.
WARNING: once the transmitter has been assembled, check that the LED does not stay on.
If the LED is on open up the transmitter again and check that it has been assembled correctly.
