Each time the machine is switched on it
performs a check of its components to ensure
that everything is ready for correct operation;
it moves the group and if necessary tops up the level of
water in the boiler.
Fill the water tank (use drinking water, softened if
possible for prolonged machine life).
Insert the water tank making sure that the rubber tube
is not twisted and is inside the water tank.
Turn on the main switch (position 1) and hold down
key 1; the words “heating please wait” will appear on
the display.
Once the operating temperature has been reached the
words “machine ready” will appear on the display.
Press the relative key to dispense as required.
The water level in the tank (figure 1-2) must
be checked regularly to prevent the pump
from drawing in air and suddenly becoming
noisy while coffee is being dispensed.
Should this occur, switch off immediately, top off the
level of water in the tank and repeat the starting up
procedure.
Never put your hands under the steam tube or the brew
group when carrying out the various operations.
