Screen House
and accessories instructions
Optional Extras - Vehicle Connector
How to fit the optional vehicle connector.
You can purchase a vehicle connector for your Screen House 4 Pro, which gives you a covered
walkway between your Screen House 4 Pro and a vehicle. The vehicle connector goes on the front
accessory zip on your Screen House 4 Pro.
Attaching the connector to the Screen House
• First zip the vehicle connector onto your Screen House.
• Then attach the other end of the tunnel to the vehicle. This is done via various methods, some of
which are listed below and on the next page.
• Next peg the two rear points just underneath your vehicle as this anchors the connector to the ground
as well.
• Next un-clip the webbing straps located on the outside of the tunnel, as this allows the tunnel to go
loose.
• Put the internal pole in place inside the tunnel as this tensions the roof of the tunnel.
• Then move the screen house away from the vehicle until the roof of the tunnel becomes tight. This is
the point where you peg your screen house (instructions shown earlier).
• Finally you adjust the connector as best you can. The tunnel is adjustable, but as the material can
only be cut once it only truly fits at one height (which is set to the maximum), all other heights are
a compromise and will require adjusting the connector. You can make the adjustment anyway you
wish, but we recommend using the method below.
• Extend the webbing strap you un-clipped earlier to its full length.
• Then clip the webbing strap to the top of the connector and then adjust the webbing strap. Once this
is done the material at the top of the tunnel should become ‘ruffled’ so it resides in the area above
the side door.
Connection Methods
You can connect to your vehicle using various different methods. Some of which are listed below, but
they are all optional. It is best to try a few different methods and find out which is best for you as
each method has its advantages and disadvantages.
Beading
• You can use the beading on the vehicle connector to connect to your vehicle. Your connector has
two beadings (4 and 6mm) on it. Simply slide the correct size beading (depends upon the channel on
your vehicle) into the channel on your vehicle, or roll out canopy etc. and you are ready to go.
Guy Lines
• Another option is to use the two pegging points located on either end of the connector. The guy line
on these points are thrown over your van and pegged onto the rear side of the vehicle, pulling the
connector against the van.
