This chapter provides troubleshooting suggestions you can follow in the unlikely event you
encounter a problem using the AirborneDirect™ Ethernet Bridge.
TROUBLESHOOTING SUGGESTIONS

The Bridge cannot find the Access
Point.
Verify that the
Link
LED is solid green. If it isn’t,
refer to “LED Troubleshooting” on the next page.
The Access Point cannot find the
Bridge.
Click the
Refresh
button in your Access Point’s
configuration application.
If the problem remains, check the Bridge’s physical
connections. Then power-down the Bridge, power it
up, and check the power-up LED sequence
described under “

Make sure that there is not another AP in the area
that may be interfering with your AP.
The Bridge may be associated to another AP.
Check the Link LED on the Bridge.
If the problem remains, contact Quatech, Inc.
You cannot access the Bridge’s
configuration interface via the ACC.
You may have typed the wrong IP address.
If you typed the correct IP address, your computer
may be on a different subnet than the Bridge. Be
sure the computer and Bridge are on the same
subnet of the same network.
The Bridge cannot associate with an
Access Point.
Change the location of the Bridge to improve
reception.
If that does not help, launch the ACC, go to the

, and be sure the SSID
matches that of the Access Point (remember the
SSID is case sensitive).
