After the library stack role is set to
Stand alone
, you can upload library
firmware to the cabinet.
To upload library firmware:

Connect an Ethernet cable to the left-hand Ethernet port on the library
SCB and to a network host on the same subnet as the library (see
figure 3
).

Note:
Make note of the original stack role. You must return the
library to its original stack role after the library firmware has
been updated.
Note:
If this was the
Master
library, there will already be an Ethernet
cable connected to the library SCB.
