Field
Description
Link Status
Indicates the port link status. The status is either Up or
Down.
Port Mode
View or set the port mode. The port mode settings are:
• Auto Sense - the port attempts to negotiate as a
loop. If it is not successful, the port negotiates as a
fabric. If the port negotiates as a loop, it then
determines whether it is a private or public loop.
• N_Port - (default setting) the port bypasses port
negotiation and connects as fabric automatically. If
N_Port is selected and the Fibre Channel network is
on a loop, a communication error will occur.
Use Hard AL_PA
View or set Hard AL_PA usage. The settings are either
enabled or disabled.
