This is a signal from the host that allows the drive
to be configured as drive 0 when the signal is 0
(grounded), and as drive 1 when the signal is 1

An interrupt to the host system. Asserted only
when the drive microprocessor has a pending
interrupt, the drive is selected, and the host clears
nIEN in the Device Control Register. When nIEN is a
1 or the drive is not selected, this output signal is
in a high-impedance state, regardless of the
presence or absence of a pending interrupt.
INTRQ is deasserted by an assertion of RESET–, the
setting of SRST in the Device Control Register, or
when the host writes to the Command Register or
reads the Status Register.
When data is being transferred in programmed I/O
(PIO) mode, INTRQ is asserted at the beginning of
each data block transfer. Exception: INTRQ is not
asserted at the beginning of the first data block
transfer that occurs when any of the following
commands executes: FORMAT TRACK, Write
Sector, WRITE BUFFER, or WRITE LONG.

An open-collector output signal. Indicates to the
host system that the 16-bit data port has been
addressed, and that the drive is ready to send or
receive a 16-bit word. When transferring data in
PIO mode, if IOCS16– is not asserted, D0–D7 are
used for 8-bit transfers; if IOCS16– is asserted, D0–
D15 are used for 16-bit data transfers.
Drive Address Bus
A 3-bit, binary-coded address supplied by the host
when accessing a register or the drive’s data port.
