Considerations
Before you begin a PIB canister replacement, review the following
information:
• PIB canisters are a hot-swappable component. You do not need to
stop all I/O from clients or remove power from the system to replace
a PIB canister.
• Take ESD precautions when replacing a PSU. For more information,
review ESD Precautions on page 68.
