If CPU FSB is set as def ault setting A uto, the sy stem detects the CPU f ront side bus
automatic ally. If CPU FSB is s et as 100MHz, the sy stem w ill run at 100MHz even if a
processor w ith 66MHz or 133MHz FSB is installed. Setting up to 133MHz using pr oces-
sors w ith 100MHz bus speed is also supported. How ever, w hether or not the system can
be ov erclocked depends on your processor’s capability. Whether the pr ocessor is bus
ratio locked or unlocked should also be taken into account. For bus ratio unlocked proces-
sor, this overc locking feature can be implemented by setting CPU FSB as 100/133MHz,
meanw hile adjus ting the bus ratio(multiplier) low er in “CPU SpeedEasy Setup” in AWARD
BIOS CMOS Setup. We do not guarantee the overclocking system to be s table.
Clear CMOS (JCC)
If you w ant to clear CMOS, unplug the AC pow er supply first, close JCC (pin1 & pin2) once,
set JCC back to the normal status w ith pin2 & pin3 connected, then pow er on the system.
Enable/Disable On-board Audio CODEC (JSD)
If you w ant to use the on-board audio CODEC, set JSD w ith pin2 & pin3 closed (default).
Otherw ise, set JSD w ith pin1 & pin2 closed for disabling this func tion.
Enable Keyboard Password Power-on Function (JKB)
The mainboard provides the adv anced keyboard pass w ord pow er-on function. Before
using this function, set JKB w ith pin1 & pin2 closed. Otherw ise, set JKB w ith pin2 & pin3
closed for disabling.
