GETTING STARTED
1. The unit requires 3
×
1.5V AA batteries which is not included in the packaging. Open the
battery compartment cover and insert the batteries in the right polarity, then close the cover
(Proposal: use alkaline batteries). The time should be displayed on the liquid crystal screen
after the batteries are inserted.
2. Insert one end of the line cord into the connector marked “line” on the base of the telephone
and the other end to the wall outlet.
3. Connect one end of the curly cord to the handset and the other end to the base of the
telephone.
4. Set the dialling mode to PULSE or TONE depending on the service providers requirements.
5. Apply for caller identification from your service provider.
WALL MOUNT INSTALLATION
1. Mark two points on the wall that are 72mm apart to drill the fixing centers as shown below,
check carefully that there are no pipes or electrical wires hidden in the wall where you are to
drill the holes.
2. Fix two screws (not supplied) at the marked locations, leaving approximately 7mm between
the wall and the screw head.
3. Hang the base unit on the screws using the wall mount slots.
4. You may need to remove the telephone from the wall and tighten the screws so that the base
is securely fixed and does not wobble. Place the handset on the cradle with the parking hook
on the cradle arranged to fit in the parking recess under the earpiece on the handset.
