• DUCTED MODE: Fire proof ducting system of 150 mm diameter vent the fumes
through a suitable outlet, in the ducted mode, only the aluminium grease filters are installed.
• RECIRCULATING MODE: Fumes are filtered for grease and odour through the aluminium grease
filters and the charcoal filters respectively and re-introduced into the kitchen environment. In
recirculating mode, both the aluminium grease filters and the charcoal filters must be installed.
Electrical Conection
•
The appliciance is built in class II, so no wire has to be connected with the earth terminal. The
connections to the electrical mains must be made as follows:
Brown = L live
Blue = N neutral
• If is not supplied, fit a plug normalized on the cord for the load showed on the rating plate. In the case of
a direct connection to the mains, it is necessary to place between the appliciance and the mains on
omnipolar switch minimum opening between contacts of 3mm, dimensioned for the load and
corresponding with the laws in force.
• Attention: should the lamps not work, make sure they are well tightened.
• Electrical connection must be made only in accordance to local standards and laws.
• Ensure that the electrical supply complies with the setting on this appliance, otherwise, do not
connect.
• Always ensure that wires do not come in contact with moving parts and are not crushed.
• Replacement halogen bulbs must not exceed 20W.
• This appliance must be connected to earth.
Mounting of the hood in the lower part of an hanging cupboard
• Drill 4 holes of 6 mm diameter at the bottom of the hanging cupboard as showed in the drawing fig. 1
• Fill the hood in the cabinet with 4 screws, witch are appropriate to that kind of cupboard.
• The applicinance is provided with 2 air outlets, one witch is in the upper part and the other on the back.
Both of thcan be used according to your requirements.
• A connecting ring (C), witch to join the connecting pipe to, and a cover (A) to close the air outlet, witch
is not used, are supplied.
Mounting of the hood
•
Drill 4 holes on the wall, witch correspond to the position (B) and (Z) of the drawing fig. 1. Hang the
hood on the 2 holes by using the screws and doweis with exoan ding plug, witch are apropriate for that
kind of wall (ex.: concrete, plasterboard, etc.)
• Fix definitely the hood through the 2 security holes (Z).
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Always switch off and unplug first!
• Surface: Wash with warm soapy water and soft sponge. Never use abrasive detergent, scouring
pads, steel wool or solvents on any part of this appliance as this will cause irreparable damage.
• Aluminium grease filters: Wash in the dishwashers or soak the panels in a degreasing agent for an
hour, the rinse off and dry before re-installing.
• Charcoal filters: Charcoal cannot be reused. They must be replaced with the appropriate types once a
year or depending on the frequency of appliance usage.
