To avoid potential injury or damage to components, ensure that the drives and other internal
system components have cooled before touching them.
a. Disconnect the power connectors of all fans from the system board.
b. Lift the fan unit out of the chassis.
6. Remove the fan.
a. Remove the rubber pins that secure the fan to the fan unit.
7. Install a new fan.
a. Align the fan to the screw holes on the fan unit.
b. Attach the rubber pins that secure the fan to the fan unit.
