2. Product Overview
This chapter provides basic information about the QNAP TS-x63XU NAS.
About the TS-x63XU
The TS-x63XU series is a professional solution designed for data storage, backup, sharing, and centralized
management. It is powered by a high-performance AMD quad-core 2.0 GHz processor, and loaded with 4
GB of SODIMM DDR3L memory that can be scaled up to 16 GB. Each TS-x63XU NAS features a
10GBASE-T network expansion card for increased bandwidth and throughput. With its AES-NI encryption
engine, the TS-x63XU accelerates the performance of encrypted file transfers. The NAS is also provisioned
for expansion with its USB 3.0 Type-A ports.
