CABLE SPECIFICATIONS
For the following connection we RECOMMEND THE MINIMUM TYPE AND SIZE as
follows:
Halogen free instrumentation, control and communication cable for fixed installation in
ships or equivalent appropriate specifications for application.
Conductor:

WIRING OF ALARM
If wiring just one side of each relay is either open or closed, use 6 cores.
If both sides of relay are being wired 9 cores will be required.
EARTHING OF SENSORS
The screen is normally connected to Pin 5. No earth should be made at the Sensor
end as this could result in ground loops. Earths made to any other point from the
screen wire between Monitor and Sensor will be ineffective and could cause additional
interference.
