This adapter provides reliable, high-performance connectivity to Ethernet-based
hosts for mission-critical Storage Area Network (SAN) environments.
The QLogic BR-1020 FCoE Converged Network Adapter is a dual-port, 10Gbps
adapter that combines the functions of a host bus adapter and a NIC on one PCIe
x8 card. This converged network adapter fully supports FCoE protocols and
allows Fibre Channel traffic to converge onto 10Gbps Converged Enhanced
Ethernet (CEE) networks. The combined high performance and proven reliability
of a single-ASIC design makes this converged network adapter ideal for
connecting hosts to SAN fabrics based on Brocade Fabric OS
®
(FOS) or Brocade
M-Enterprise OS (M-EOS).
