The control system
The following section covers the basic operation of the remote control system.
Drive especially carefully during your first journey. We recommend that you set the drive
profile to the lowest possible level until you are familiar with the chair.
3.1.1
Safety information
•
Do not touch the ON/OFF button while driving. The wheelchair brakes with
maximum delay.
•
Bring the seat and backrest into their home positions before the start of the journey.
•
The attachment/detachment of accessories/components can alter driving
behaviour.
•
The frame, cables and the batteries should be checked for damage after a collision
with an obstacle. In case of visual or audible damage, contact your local dealer
immediately for repairs.
•
Curves and slopes should be driven with adequate speed.
•
Note that there is a risk of tilting when driving round bends or when turning around
- especially slopes and inclinations.
•
Do not drive up inclinations and slopes steeper than stated in the technical data.
•
When driving downhill note that there is a risk of the chair tipping over when
braking.
•
Never expose the wheelchair to extreme weather conditions.
