Light Tower Operation
217B
Three stacked indicator lights and a buzzer are used to indicate the status of the machine.
The lights are visible from all sides of the machine and operate as follows:
•
51B
The green indicator is on when the module is in Auto Cycle and producing parts. It is
off at all other times.
•
52B
The amber indicator is on when the module is in Auto Cycle and ready to produce
parts but cannot due to an external material handling problem (no incoming parts or
no room to unload parts). It is off at all other times.
•
53B
The red indicator is on steady when the module is not in Auto Cycle due to operator
intervention. It flashes when the module is in cycle, but the cycle is halted due to a
module problem. It is off at all other times.
•
54B
The buzzer cycles with the red indicator during module errors.
