Anchor Line Secured to Cleat
DO NOT use the windlass as a winch to
move the boat over the anchor. Move the
boat under its own power to the anchor to
break the anchor loose.
The anchor is retrieved by releasing the line
from the bow cleat and activating the
“Retrieve” switch at the helm. Once the
anchor is retrieved, secure the anchor to the
chain snubber or bow cleat to prevent it from
being released while underway.
Windshield
Your Pursuit boat is equipped with a chemi-
cally toughened, single piece, laminated
windshield. This glass provides enhanced
safety and excellent optical properties. To
maintain performance and ensure long life, it
must be cared for properly. Clean the wind-
shield using only mild soap and water. Do
not pressure wash the windshield or perform
heavy scrubbing along the perimeter of the
glass as damage to the membrane along the
edges could occur. Do no use chemicals to
clean the glass as these can potentially
degrade the edge sealant. Should the glass
become scratched, mechanical polishing will
degrade the strength of the glass and should
not be performed. If damage results from
use of any of these methods then this dam-
age will not be covered under Pursuit’s lim-
ited warranty.
Hardtop
The hardtop consists of a fiberglass top sup-
ported by the windshield in the front and
powder coated aluminum legs in the back. It
is designed to accommodate radio anten-
nas, radar antennas and navigation lights. It
could also be equipped with optional outrig-
gers and/or rod holders.

CAUTION
MOVING PARTS OR
ENTANGLEMENT HAZARD
Contact with moving parts while oper-
ating the windlass can entangle, cut
which can result in loss of body parts,
strangulation and/or severe loss off
blood, causing serious injury or
death. Stay clear of moving parts.
NOTICE
Wash windshield only with soapy
water. Use of abrasives, pressure
cleaners and chemicals can cause
irreparable damage.
