5.5 Connecting an amplifier or mixing console
Connect the receiver through one of the audio outputs to e.g. a mixer or amplifier. Before doing so, you
should set the input level of the following device to minimum. If the device has both connection options,
always use the XLR outputs for optimal signal transmission.
The Mic/Line switch switches the audio outputs between microphone level (-30 dB attenuation) and line
level. Select the appropriate setting for the following device.
By operating the receiver with devices grounded via the mains cable, noise interference may occur due
to ground loops. To eliminate this interference, set the groundlift switch to position LIFT.
5.7 Connecting the power adapter
Connect the power adapter to the power input of the receiver and the mains plug to a mains socket.
Pass the cable through the cable grip. Always disconnect the mains connector when you wish to change
connections, move the unit to a different place or if it is not used for a longer period.
5.8 Linking receivers
Use the CASCADE BNC jacks to build a multi-channel system. The figure shows an example of the
supply of a 4-channel system with two remote antennas.
The supplied power adapter is designed for power supply of two receivers. To interconnect the devices,
connect the DC OUT jack to the DC IN jack of the second device. A cascading cable is included in the
delivery. If necessary, use a more powerful power adapter to interconnect more than two receivers.
