4.4 Inserts
Inserts can be used for dynamic processors, equalizers or other sound effectors modifying the original signal
completely.
The signal is separated, led outside and inserted at the same position after being modified.
Please note:
If you do not return the signal into the insert point, there will be no signal output as the signal
flow is completely interrupted. If you only wish to exit the signal, you must only push the jack plug into the
first contact.
The inserts are pre EQ, AUX and fader and are sent and received via the same jack plug.

Connect the mixer‘s output signal via an Insert-cable/adapter with the effector’s input (tip & sleeve) and
output (ring & sleeve).
4.5 Direct Outs
Direct outs can be used for direct connection of the MIC channels. They are necessary if you want to make
multi-track recordings during a concert. Every signal source can be recorded on a single track.
